Strategy of Hybrid Warfare against Enemy

Strategic Council Online - Opinion: Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in his remarks on February 8 in a meeting with the Air Force personnel of the Islamic Republic of Iran, referring to the hybrid warfare of the enemy in the political, economic, media and security fields, announced the key to launching a mutual hybrid warfare. Hassan Hanizadeh - Expert on international affairs

Although the concept of hybrid warfare is a new keyword that has entered into the Iranian political and media literature, the attention and ingenuity of the Leader of the Revolution in neutralizing the hegemony of the enemies of the revolution in all areas of military warfare and software warfare is commendable. The media of the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been on the defensive mode for the past 4 decades and this is considered as a major weakness in the media structure, but the shift to the strategy of hybrid warfare can neutralize an important part of the enemy’s media mischiefs.

In fact, today the media field is considered as an important arm of the national security and military power of any country, and therefore the move towards the use of hybrid warfare in the media, political, economic and security fields has intensified in the past decade. While Iran has become a superior military power in the region, this power has never had a software backing, especially in the field of hybrid warfare, and therefore the military area of the Islamic Republic of Iran is always at the center of hybrid warfare of the enemy.

Iran’s economic sphere is also under the watchful eye of the enemy’s hybrid warfare, and the global opposition media tried to describe Iran in the economic sphere as a paralyzed country incapable of presenting patterns of resistance and national economy. In the age of the information explosion, there is no place for defensive media, rather the contemporary world is engaged in a media war. Many non-democratic and tribal countries with fragile social structures, by cleverly using the media and adopting methods of hybrid warfare, have been able to present a completely democratic and humane image of their systems that is completely different from internal realities.

Saudi Arabia and the Zionist regime are clear examples of such regimes, which, with a media maneuvering power, have shown completely different and unrealistic images of themselves.

With one hundred active satellite networks and an annual turnover of 10 billion dollars and the definition of clever methods of hybrid warfare, Saudi Arabia has been able to create a safe margin in the world for itself over the past two decades, despite blatant human rights violations and prevalence of social and security problems.

The Zionist regime, with 5,000 audio, video and written channels in the United States and Western countries, was able to create a widespread current against the Palestinian people, Iran and the Axis of Resistance, and align Western public opinion with itself.

Therefore, the recent statements of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution regarding the definition of the mechanisms of hybrid warfare are the result of his deep knowledge of the secrets of regional and international media mischiefs and should be considered as a compass for the movement of the media of the Islamic Republic of Iran. If until now the media of the Islamic Republic of Iran have always paid attention to national considerations based on political credentials and avoided to move towards a hybrid warfare, now with the recent order of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, they must make fundamental changes in their information dissemination methods.

Formation of a think tank with the participation of elites and committed media thinkers can be an important step in moving towards a strategic definition of the hybrid warfare considered by the Leader.

There is such a think tank in most countries of the world that attach great importance to the aggressive role of the media, and therefore they have been quite successful in the field of media and public opinion engineering.

In the field of media activities, it is said that the media is the winner that can organize the first propaganda attack intelligently and purposefully against the other party. Therefore, in the Western world, the media is used as an arm of security and national defense, and for this reason, the security cost of such countries has become lighter compared to previous decades.

It Was America That Abandoned Nuclear Diplomacy/ Iran Also Considers Diplomacy the Best Approach

Strategic Council Online: The President of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations stated: “The US State Department spokesperson, after my interview with Al Jazeera, reiterated their past remarks, stating that they won’t allow Iran to build nuclear weapons, but ultimately said diplomacy is the best approach. Yes, we too prefer diplomacy since based on the Fatwa of our Supreme Leader are not for nuclear weapons; rather, we are advocates of diplomacy to make the Middle East a nuclear-free region. But, in case the Israeli regime threatens us with nuclear weapons, we surely cannot sit idle and wait for permission from others.”

Europe’s Confusion in Securing Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Red Sea

Strategic Council Online – Opinion: The strategic Strait of Bab al-Mandab and the Red Sea have recently faced serious problems and crises due to the Gaza war. This is because of the protectionist approach of the Yemeni army forces toward Palestine, which, since the beginning of the Israeli regime’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, has included attacks on ships bound for or from the origin of the regime in the Red Sea.
They said they will continue their attacks until the Israeli regime’s military aggression in the Gaza Strip ends. The United States, as the most important supporter of the Israeli regime, was the first country to respond to this policy of Yemeni army forces and tried to form a global coalition to counter these attacks under the cover of supporting freedom of navigation, which, of course, failed because of conflicts of interests of Western countries and ended in the actions of the US and British attacks on positions in Yemen. Of course, although European countries were not seriously involved in the American coalition, they have numerous and complex interests in this inflammatory, and as a result, have adopted a particular and independent approach.

The prospect of Possible Departure of Hamas Political Office from Qatar

Because the university enjoys higher public trust and social capital than other civil and social institutions and is, therefore, more effective, the current protests put the U.S. government in a “difficult situation” that is clear in the statements of current and former U.S. officials.
