Ansarollah’s Effective “Balancing” in Al-Aqsa Battle

Strategic Council Online - Opinion: The Al-Aqsa Storm was a response to the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the Palestinian nation, which caused irreparable damage to that regime. Hamid Khoshayand – Expert in regional affairs

Confrontation of the Zionists with the Al-Aqsa battle, which was based on the principle of “legitimate defense” and “deterrent operations,” has been horrific and accompanied by war crimes and genocide in Gaza. This issue, considering that the people of Gaza have been subjected to racism, mass punishment, and mass killing, has caused the reaction of various Resistance groups in the region, including Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, and Ansarollah in Yemen, which is unprecedented.

Concerning the fact that the Islamic Resistance is a unified front that feels religious, Islamic, and political responsibility in the face of threats to each of its members, it is quite natural that the Islamic Resistance, with regard to the issue of Palestine and the criminal and racist measures of the criminal Zionist regime which has caused the massacre of Palestinians in the past decades, shows reaction. Therefore, as long as those crimes continue in any form against the oppressed Palestinian nation, the reactions from various resistance groups in the region will continue, and the interests of the Zionist regime and its supporters will not be immune and secure.

Ansarollah of Yemen, who is one of the important members of the Islamic Resistance Front and has found a decisive and strategic role in the developments of the region and the Islamic world, has been active on a broad level on land and in the sea and has had a significant presence in the developments related to the Gaza war.

In other words, Ansarollah’s entry into the Gaza war, which is more “open, decisive and threatening” and targeting the Zionist regime and confiscating the ships that travel under the flag of that regime or the ownership of elements affiliated with it, is one of the critical dimensions related to the field developments of the Gaza war.

In the first days of the beginning of the Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza, the leader of the Yemeni People’s Resistance said the ultimate word in a clear and authoritative position and declared, ‘the approaches and resolutions of the Security Council did not offer anything to Palestine and did not protect children, women and civilians there. Our people are ready to go into action with hundreds of thousands of them and join the Palestinian people to face the enemy, and we will not hesitate to do whatever is possible. We are in harmony with the Axis of Resistance, and if the Americans intervene militarily directly, we are ready to even participate in missile bombing and marches’.

Muhammad Al-Bukhaiti, a member of the political bureau of Yemen’s Ansarollah, also said in an interview with Al Jazeera, ‘We still have many painful options, and if the aggression continues, they will be used, and we will face an escalation of tension. We cannot and will not accept to stand still while Gaza is bombed and watch the crimes of the usurpers in Gaza’.

Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, has also announced in his words, ‘We warn all Israeli enemy ships or ships that trade with the enemy that those ships will become legitimate targets of our armed forces.’

The adviser of the Political Council of Women’s Affairs in Sana’a has also emphasized in an interview, ‘If the situation gets out of hand, the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, through which a third of world trade is carried out, will be closed.’

Ali Al-Khoum, a member of the political bureau of Yemen’s Ansarollah, also talked about the expansion of the country’s military operations against the Zionist regime until the victory of Palestine and Gaza and the complete annihilation of Israel, and Muhammad Al-Bukhaiti, another prominent member of the National Salvation Government of Sana’a, in an interview with Al-Mayadeen, referring to the term “intensification vs. intensification” has talked about the variety of painful Resistance options in case of continued Israeli aggression in Gaza.

Such warnings and statements have been implemented at different levels. In addition to the continuous bombing of various areas of the occupied lands, several commercial ships of the Zionist regime have also been seized. The front that has been opened against the Zionist regime through Yemen has been “dangerous” and contrary to the calculations of the leaders of the Zionist regime, especially the seizure of the Zionist ship “Galaxy Leader” in the Red Sea has marked a “new failure” in the field of intelligence and security for the Zionists.

The important thing here is that Yemen’s “special geographical location”, the Yemeni People’s Resistance to strategic weapons and long-range missiles and drones, the operational capabilities of Ansarollah, as well as the control over important sea waterways, especially Bab el-Mandeb, play an effective role in “balancing” in the Battle of Al-Aqsa, in favor of Palestine, while it was one of the factors involved in accepting a pause in the war by the Israeli regime.

It is enough to mention that the Yemeni People’s Resistance can easily “disrupt” more than 40 percent of the Zionist regime’s foreign trade that is carried out by sea and face it with strategic threats which, if the crimes of the Zionist apartheid regime in Gaza continue, it will cause the “collapse of the economy” of the Israeli regime.

In this regard, the former head of the Internal Security Council of the Zionist regime, Giora Eiland, while expressing doubts about the possibility of continuing the movement of Israeli ships from the Red Sea to the port of Eilat in the south of the occupied territories, added, ‘If the Yemenis decide to seize all Israeli ships, the problem will become bigger’ adding, ‘Israel is facing the problem of Gaza, the northern front (Lebanon), the closure of the Red Sea to ships and other issues, including the conflict in the West Bank’.

In conclusion, it should be emphasized that the Zionist regime started brutal attacks on Gaza. At the same time, it did not imagine that it would face the reaction of other Resistance forces, including Ansarollah. Unlike previous battles, in the post-Al-Aqsa Storm, the crimes of the Zionist regime in Palestine will no longer be focused only on a Palestinian-Zionist issue. Instead, other players of the Islamic Resistance in the region will also become active. They will target the occupied lands as well as the “Zionist interests and centers” in the region.
