Zionist Regime’s Failed Conspiracy to Eliminate Resistance in West Bank

2023/04/04 | Note, Politics, top news

Strategic Council Online - Opinion: Netanyahu’s fascist government has proposed a plan to “remove the Islamic Resistance groups” from the West Bank, including Nablus and Jenin. This conspiracy plan is presented at a time when the measures of the Zionist regime to deal with the Islamic Resistance in the West Bank have failed, and the Palestinian Resistance groups have started large-scale operations in the mentioned areas in response to the crimes of the usurpers. Hamid Khoshayand – Expert on regional affairs

Based on the information disclosed by some Arab and regional sources, the conspiracy to eradicate the Resistance in Nablus and Jenin was seriously discussed in a recent “Nakba” meeting. The plan was prepared with the cooperation of Jordan, the Palestinian Authority, the Zionist regime, and the United States.

In the first step, the Palestinian Authority plans to create security barriers at the entry points in Jenin and Nablus to prevent the invasion of the Zionist regime’s forces into those cities in a fake action aimed at reducing the intensity of the conflicts. They are expected to promote this issue as a big success in social networks!

After Jenin and Nablus found temporary and apparent peace and this issue was presented as an achievement, in the next step, some unknown people in the security centers of the Palestinian Authority will shoot, and then this action will be attributed to the Resistance groups, and the forces of the Authority will be able to suppress the Resistance under the pretext of insecurity to return security and peace to the cities and with the help of the Zionist criminal regime will close their case.

The Zionist regime will provide all the financial expenses and… implementation of this conspiracy with the help of Jordan and the United States, and it is supposed to be publicized in the coming days and simultaneously with the launch of a media campaign unless new developments occur and its implementation will be practically stopped.

There are two important points regarding the conspiracy to remove the Islamic Resistance from the West Bank in general and the cities of Nablus and Jenin in particular. One about the “causes and reasons” and the other about its “prospects and results,” which will be discussed in the following.

The first point is 2022; the current year has been a “turning point” for Palestine. During those 15 months, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance is passing the “most golden” period. What events and crises are taking place inside the fascist regime of Israel, which are gaining new dimensions and scope daily, are a sign of a “great” and “imminent transformation”!

Only in this period of one year and three months, in response to the crimes of the usurpers, the Palestinian Resistance has carried out about 14,000 anti-Zionist operations in the occupied territories. It has taken as many human casualties from this regime as all the wars of the Zionist regime with Palestine!

The main focus of this operation is the West Bank, including the cities of Nablus and Jenin, which have become the center of activity of many Resistance groups that do not believe in compromise plans, including the “two-state” solution and the “Oslo Accords.” Their only target is the “annihilation of Israel”! This issue is so worrying and terrifying for the Zionists that they have already stationed more than 70 percent of their army in the West Bank, most of which are around Jenin!

In this regard, to deal with the situation in which it is caught, the Zionist regime has put its most “aggressive” conspiracy, which is to remove the Islamic Resistance from the West Bank, on the agenda.

The second point, the trend and perspective of the field, and political and military developments in the occupied territories, clearly shows that any plan to remove the Islamic Resistance from any part of Palestine will actually be met with “failure” and subsequently with “reverse results.” Attempting to eliminate the Islamic Resistance is interpreted as “suicide”!

In a situation where the West Bank has become the center of Resistance in Palestine since the Battle of Sif al-Quds and has caused material, non-material and human losses to the Zionist regime in this short period, as much as in all the years and decades before, the talk about eliminating the Islamic Resistance is more like a “dream” than an operational and attainable plan that is not even one percent possible to be realized.

First, the Zionist regime and its players do not have accurate and complete information about the number, nature, and actual strength of the Islamic Resistance groups that have increased in the West Bank in the past two years; the groups that have a unique, powerful and armed organizational structure and sometimes have a trans-organizational dimension, that is to say, they are not considered to be among any of the Palestinian Resistance groups. In addition, they are very experienced and professional in terms of operations, information, and even regional influence!

Second, to eliminate the Resistance, the Zionist regime needs an efficient and powerful army. It is worth pondering here that the usurper Israeli regime has faced the phenomenon of “disobedience” and “massive refusal to serve in the army” in recent weeks, which indicates the creation of a “rift” within the army. This is while the army and intelligence organizations of the Zionist regime have been severely weakened in the past two years.

In response, Netanyahu said, “I am worried about the army. There should not be disobedience in the army because this will destroy us.”

And finally, the conditions of the region and the field and political developments do not allow the Zionist regime to carry out such a conspiracy. The daily “Yedioth Ahronoth” wrote in an analysis, ‘There is nothing to prevent Israel from falling into the abyss!’ Today, the Zionist regime is openly on the edge of the abyss.

Therefore, despite such a situation, as well as internal and regional obstacles and the “serious conditions” that the Zionist regime has suffered, the conspiracy to remove the Islamic Resistance from the West Bank is an entirely wrong calculation that can accelerate and facilitate the process of destroying the Zionist regime.

Strategic Council Online – Report: While the second phase of the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire has begun, the establishment of the “Peace Board” chaired by Donald Trump on the sidelines of the Davos meeting (22 January 2026) has become more than a technical mechanism for reconstruction and has turned into a test for the future of the international order.
Despite the signing of the charter by 22 out of 60 invited countries, the limited presence of global leaders at the Davos ceremony and the non-acceptance of this body by the European Union and key Western countries indicate a deep divide in global perceptions of the legitimacy of this mechanism.
In this report, drawing on the analysis of Hadi Borhani, a regional affairs expert, and international data, three strategic questions are addressed: Is the Peace Board an instrument for implementing UN Security Council Resolution 2803 or a substitute for the United Nations? How does the hierarchical architecture of this committee intensify executive challenges in Gaza? And finally, can this body create sustainable peace without the cooperation of Palestinians and with the concentration of power in the hands of a single individual?
