The martyrdom of more than 900 Palestinian children in Gaza and the bombing of all infrastructures, hospitals, medical teams, etc., are only part of the long list of brutal crimes committed by the Zionists in Gaza, which nullifies their deception. Unfortunately, such crimes occur while international organizations, including the Security Council and European countries, have sufficed only with announcing “neutral” and sometimes “biased” positions and statements that even condemn Palestinian groups.
As much as the Al-Aqsa Storm by the Palestinian militant groups to defend themselves against the Zionist regime is legal and based on the recognized rules of international law, measures by the Zionist regime in Gaza are entirely illegal and a clear example of “war crimes” and “crimes against humanity.”
While the Zionists in cyberspace and social networks are trying to show the facts “upside down” and publish fake pictures, etc., to accuse the Resistance groups, including Hamas, of infanticide and violation of the rights of civilians and ordinary citizens, the Resistance fighters in the field of operation, seriously and objectively adhere to moral and humane principles and regulations and like the Zionists, they do not deceive in this regard.
The Zionist regime, which has sustained a hefty blow on its dignity in the unprecedented battle of the Palestinian Resistance groups, and only the events of the first four hours of the operation on Saturday, October 7, are enough to understand the depth and scope of that blow, are making continuous effort with the coordination of some American and European media to publish false, biased and “fake” narratives from the battlefield to present the face of an oppressed and victimized regime in the public opinion of the world.
This act of the Zionists carried out with the coordination of some American and European media and news circles, can never change the position of the oppressor and the oppressed in the occupied territories. The scene of occupied Palestine, the events in Gaza, and the crimes committed by the child-killing Zionist regime are so transparent that public opinion, even in European countries and the US, are not fooled by the “distortion of the facts of the battlefield” in Gaza.
Therefore, the Al-Aqsa Storm is an operation that cannot be questioned in terms of international law by showing it upside down and questioning its “legitimacy” and the necessity of its implementation.
The Al-Aqsa Storm, although having specific and defined goals, is a “preemptive and deterrent action” in response to the continued widespread crimes of the Zionist regime during more than seven decades of occupation, which has left more than 80 thousand martyrs and 7 million displaced people.
Therefore, the measures of Palestinian groups to defend and preserve the right to life of the Palestinian people and to determine their destiny are entirely legal and within the framework of the principle of “legitimate defense” and “deterrence.”
Legitimate defense is recognized as a general legal rule and principle and is accepted by all legal systems worldwide. Prescribing legitimate defense to ” protect” the rights of the individual, group, or society under attack is a specific and definite matter.
The legal aspects of the recent operation by the Palestinians from the center of Gaza are so clear and transparent that they cannot be doubted or projected as long as the occupation and aggression against a country or nation continue, according to the laws related to international responsibility, it reserves the permanent and continuous right of “self-defense” for the occupied country and the invaded nation, which Palestine is a concrete and clear example of such a situation in the contemporary world.
Therefore, as long as the occupation and the crimes of the Zionists continue under various pretexts and in multiple forms and levels in the occupied territories against the Palestinian nation, “legitimate defense” and deterrence as a definite and recognized “right” will still be reserved for Palestinians and Resistance groups.
At the same time, the historical evidence and experience of more than 75 years of political, security, and field developments in occupied Palestine show that without a decisive struggle and harsh response, the right to “determination of destiny” cannot be obtained, and even the “right to life” cannot be accepted. Failure to recognize the resistance groups and their activities and deterrence measures against the occupiers will lead to a worse situation, the scope of which can cover the entire region.
