An analysis of the failure of the Zionist regime’s strategy in the Gaza war

Strategic Council Online - Opinion: More than six months have passed since the war in Gaza. Although the Zionist regime was fully supported by the United States during this period and is present in the war scene with all its might, it has not been able to achieve any of its "declared" and "practical" goals. Failure to achieve goals, army casualties, heavy economic losses, and the crisis of war management are four important internal signs that clearly indicate the failure of the Zionist regime in the Gaza war. In fact, what is going on in Gaza today is not a war for victory but the stubbornness of a defeated force to prevent the collapse of the cabinet and the political death of Netanyahu.

After six months of heavy attacks and widespread genocide, which is unprecedented in human history, not only has Hamas not been destroyed, and the people of Gaza have not left, and the security and political control of Gaza has not been handed over to the Zionist regime, but on the opposite point and based on what can be seen in the field as well as political and security scenes, this war has increased the determination of the people of Gaza and the Palestinian resistance groups to defeat the fake Israeli regime. At the same time, it has strengthened Hamas even more and destroyed the deterrence of the Zionist regime, especially in the northern areas of occupied Palestine.

According to the annual threat assessment by the United States intelligence department, Hamas has become so powerful that it can stand against the Israeli regime for years, even decades. In just one week, Hamas has conducted 70 operations in northern Gaza against the Israeli regime, which is rare and unique in the history of asymmetric wars.

The amount of losses and casualties of the Zionist regime in this war is very high. Still, the severe media censorship inside the occupied territories, which has always existed regarding the issues, problems, and crises of this regime, prevents the full reflection and publication of the existing losses and casualties.

While Netanyahu claims that he is in the “moment before the victory,” in the recent six-month war, the Zionist regime suffered many times more economic losses and human casualties than in all previous wars. The destruction of more than 2,000 tanks, personnel carriers, and armored vehicles, in addition to 5,000 army casualties, about 30,000 cases of insanity and severe mental problems among soldiers, the spread of self-mutilation in the army and security forces, and the displacement of more than 45,000 people who are unwilling to return to their homes, are only a tiny part of the regime’s losses in this six-month war.

The army of the Zionist regime has suffered so much damage in this war that it needs more than 100 billion dollars to rebuild and return to the situation before October 7, 2023. In this regard and based on the available statistics, the economy of the Zionist regime has collapsed and is facing a deep crisis. Washington’s interpretation in this context is worthy of consideration: “Israel’s economy is like the ruins of Gaza”!

In addition, the most important pillar of the Gaza war administration, the “war cabinet” of the regime, is also on the verge of collapse due to the “severe differences” that exist and are increasing every day, as all the decisions that are made in the war cabinet are made out of desperation and helplessness.

In the cognitive field, the situation is going against the will of the Zionist regime. If we consider the most important part of cognitive warfare to be victory in the war of narratives and bringing public opinion together, the Zionist regime has faced a tough failure in this field as well. So, despite the widespread use of media networks in the region and internationally, it has not been able to hide the truth and facts of the crimes of this regime in the Gaza war from the eyes of the world’s public opinion.

The war in Gaza has put the US in trouble and faced severe risks because of its comprehensive support for the Zionist regime. The reactions of the resistance front in Yemen and Iraq have practically created operational threats against the centers and vital interests of the United States in the region. The fact that Ansarollah has completely sunk several American and British ships in the Red Sea in defense of Gaza is unprecedented after World War II. It is a serious warning for the US!

According to the field and political evaluations, the war is truly over. The Zionist regime has failed, and the resistance has won, and what continues is actually the stubbornness of a failed force. The war cabinet and the army of the Zionist regime are at a stage where they are extremely passive and merely react to events, and at the same time, they lack any prospects for success in the war.

At present, the attack on Rafah is the last hope of the Zionist regime, regarding which there are very strong differences between the White House and Tel Aviv on the one hand and within the War Cabinet on the other hand. Now, Netanyahu is eyeing Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, where more than a million Palestinians are seeking shelter. This is despite the fact that any attack on Rafah not only causes increasing international anger but also makes negotiations with Hamas much more complicated and causes the criminal Zionist regime to sink further into the Gaza swamp.

Strategic Council Online – Opinion: The Zionist regime is trying to “psychologically exploit” the recent events in the region to divert the world public opinion from the crimes this regime is committing in Gaza. Examining the atmosphere prevailing in the political and media circles of the Zionist regime and the centers aligned with it at the regional and international level shows that this regime seeks to “highlight and dominate” the recent tensions with the Islamic Republic of Iran so that it could reduce the heavy pressure that is felt in the domestic, regional, and international public opinion and even European governments against the Gaza war.
