In this meeting, Mr. Naeem Al-Rehman, expressing his pleasure at visiting the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated, “Pakistan and Iran have historical and deep relations, and Iran’s Islamic Revolution is now a model for the Islamic world.”

He added: “Jamaat-e-Islami is a party for the promotion of Islamic faith, and we consider Iran’s Islamic Revolution to be a great torch on the path for Muslims; the current situation in the Islamic world, and particularly in Palestine.”

The Secretary-General of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, stating that the conditions of the Islamic world are painful, said: “The Islamic Republic of Iran can be a guide for Muslims in these sensitive circumstances. We also in Pakistan, after the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, have put our full efforts to mobilize public support for the oppressed people of Gaza.”

Mr. Naeem Rehman, referring to Pakistan’s support for Iran during the 12-day war, added: “Iran’s response to Israeli aggression was so crushing that the regime could not endure for more than a few days. This behavior of Iran should be a model for the Islamic world, since Israel is a threat to all Islamic countries.”

Dr. Kharrazi emphasized in this meeting: “In the Gaza war and the aggression against Iran, the true face of Western governments was revealed. They had hidden their reality behind the mask of freedom and human rights, but today, with the coming to power of Trump and new European leaders, their true faces have been exposed.”

The President of SCFR emphasized that “Global public opinion is fully aware of the situation in Gaza, and that is why they participate in various demonstrations in support of the people of Gaza. Public sentiment in Europe is so strong that some Western governments have been forced to make hypocritical moves in taking positions in support of the people of Gaza, but in practice, they send weapons to the Zionist regime to massacre those oppressed people.”

He added, “Currently, the United Nations and other international organizations are no longer effective. Trump’s mocking treatment of these institutions fully indicates their deplorable condition.”

Dr. Kharrazi said: “The foundation of Iran’s Islamic Revolution is self-reliance and not pinning hopes on such tools and mechanisms, although they should be used if possible.  Our reliance must be on our people and our national capacities. This is the secret to the success of the Islamic Republic of Iran and can be a model for the world and the Islamic world.”

The President of SCFR continued: “If some Islamic governments rely on their own people instead of foreign powers, the situation will turn out differently. The current situation in the Gaza Strip shows the depth of the catastrophe in the Islamic world. Still, one should not despair; rather, hoping for divine assistance, support the people of Gaza, and help them in every way possible.”

He said: “There is no way but resistance and steadfastness. The recent behavior of the Zionist regime in Syria shows that this regime is a threat to all countries in the region. The Zionist regime has a free hand in its actions, and Islamic countries must exit their state of passivity and use their abundant capacities in saving themselves.”
