Iran Offers to Share Experience with Ansarullah

Strategic Council Online: The President of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations has emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to support the oppressed people of Yemen. Additionally, Iran is ready to share more than four decades of political experience with Ansarullah in the upcoming stages.

In the meeting of Abdullah Hashem Al Sayani, a member of the political office of Ansarullah Yemen, with Dr. Seyed Kamal Kharrazi, the President of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, the latest field and political developments in Yemen were discussed.

Dr. Kharrazi stressed the importance of maintaining Yemen’s territorial integrity and addressing the suffering of the Yemeni people, including lifting the blockade and embargo against the country. He emphasized the need to commence Yemeni-Yemeni negotiations after resolving the humanitarian issues caused by the war. “A comprehensive plan should be developed to ensure the full realization of the Yemeni people’s rights without any foreign interference”, he said.

In this meeting, Abdullah Hashim Al-Syani, a member of Ansarullah’s political office, presented the outcome of the talks held between Ansarullah and Saudi Arabia, along with their future plans. Dr. Kharrazi highlighted the three vital components of faith, leadership, and popular support that have contributed to the success of the Yemeni resistance. He also emphasized the importance of following the political process to resolve the crisis in Yemen.

In this meeting, which was attended by Ebrahim Al-Dilami, the Yemeni ambassador to Iran, it was decided to continue the exchange of views and cooperation between the Center for Strategic Studies of Yemen and the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations at the request of the Yemeni side.
