Dr. Kharazi, in the meeting with the Minister of International Affairs of the Chinese Communist Party: The status of regional emerging powers in the new world order

Strategic Council Online: Dr. Seyed Kamal Kharazi, in a meeting with Liu Jianchao, the Minister of International Affairs of the Chinese Communist Party, on Wednesday evening, stated: ‘The future world order will be multipolar instead of unipolar, and regional emerging powers should also play a role in its formation.’

In another part of the meeting, the President of the Council on Foreign Relations called the cooperation of Iran, China, Russia, and the countries of the South promin in the formation of the new world order and said that organizations such as Shanghai and BRICS could be a good platform for such cooperation.

He suggested that between the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations and the Ministry of International Affairs of the Chinese Communist Party, strategic talks should be continued, which was welcomed by the Chinese Minister.

Expressing his concern about the spread of extremism in Western countries, Dr. Kharazi referred to the Zionist regime’s war against Gaza and said: ‘The United States and Europe are participating in the killing of children, women, elderly and civilians by supporting the Zionist regime with weapons, financial and political aid.’

He warned that the situation in the region is hazardous and critical, and in such a situation, the possibility of the spread of war is quite high.

In another part of this meeting, the SCFR President stressed the expansion of the people-to-people relations between Iran and China. He suggested that tourism between the two countries should be increased to familiarize the people of the two countries with each other. He also proposed that meetings on civilizational dialogues be held between the two countries.

Liu Jianchao, ‌the Minister of International Affairs of the Chinese Communist Party, also explained Beijing’s view on international relations and said that China supports the role of the United Nations in international order which has to be based on democratic principles.

At the same time, he stated that China resists the interference of other powers in its internal affairs and will not submit to the policies of other countries.

In another part of this meeting, regarding the Gaza war, Liu Jianchao stated: ‘China always supports the Palestinian people and stands by Arab and Islamic countries.’

He also welcomed the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries and the necessity of the Iranian and the Chinese people to get to know each other through tourism and holding civilizational dialogues between the two countries. He said that the Chinese President has emphasized civilizational dialogues.
