Dr. Kharrazi: Israel Is a Regime Beyond Apartheid

Strategic Council Online - Interview: The president of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations said: The Israeli regime is not only an apartheid regime but also a child-killing regime, which is committing genocide by continuing its war crimes in Gaza.

Dr. Seyed Kamal Kharrazi stated in an interview with the SCFR website: Apartheid regimes are regimes that discriminate among the people based on their religious, human, and social characteristics, ethnic and racial superiority, imposing restrictions on the movement of the land’s original inhabitants and their enjoyment of the blessings and rights of human life. The regime of South Africa was an apartheid regime, which, in the light of the rising of the original inhabitants of that land, was finally transformed into a democratic regime with the transfer of power to the black majority.

He added: Such a definition of the apartheid regime is completely true for the Israeli regime because Israel has not only imposed all kinds of discrimination and restrictions on the Palestinians based on its apartheid policy but also confiscates their houses and properties and gives them to Jews. Since its establishment, the occupying regime of Al-Quds has forcibly taken over the homes of many residents of this land, whether Muslim or Christian, and dedicated them to accommodate Jews who immigrated to this land from European countries, a policy that continues.

The president of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations said: “Furthermore, today in the war in Gaza, we are witnessing the genocide and the killing of the civilian population of Gaza, both men and women and children, and the cutting off of water, electricity, and fuel by Israel. The oppressed people of Gaza, mostly are refugees who were forcibly moved to this area in the past, an event that is known as the Nakbat in the history of Palestine. In any case, Israel’s slaughter of the people of Gaza has forced the freedom-lovers of the world in different countries, being Muslims, Christians, or even Jews, to defend the oppressed Palestinians by attending public demonstrations and raising their voices against such open cruelty.

Dr. Kharrazi continued: Therefore, the Israeli regime is not only an apartheid regime, but it is beyond that; it is a child-killing regime that is committing genocide by continuing its war crimes in Gaza. The blacks of South Africa indeed went through a difficult time in their uprising, but they did not experience genocide, and the cut of water, electricity, fuel, and the supply of their normal needs by the white regime. The Israeli regime has committed genocide in Palestine through social isolation, building walls, movement control, depriving Palestinians of their basic rights and access to water, electricity, and fuel, and confiscating their property.

The president of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations emphasized that the fans and followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) have been mourning the events of Karbala for nearly 1400 years and that the enemy troops cut the water on Hussein’s (PBUH) followers and brutally massacred women and children. They hold a yearly mourning ceremony and wish they were among Hussein’s companions to defend freedom against oppression. Accordingly, even today, the Shiites of the world support Palestinians despite their religious differences.

Dr. Kharrazi, in response to what should be done against such a regime? said: “Palestinians have no choice but to fight against such a bloodthirsty regime, especially since they have tried all peaceful ways including negotiations, and the result has been nothing but extravagance and expansion of Israeli aggression. What we have seen since the Oslo negotiations. So the Palestinian people, who have nothing but their lives, have no choice but to fight to achieve their rights.

He added: “Unfortunately, despite the protests of freedom-loving people in the West and their opposition to the brutality of the Israeli regime, not only the Western governments have not stopped supporting the Israeli regime politically, but have continued to provide financial and arms support to that regime.  Unfortunately, some Arab governments too, despite their own people’s protests, have adopted weak or neutral positions against Israel’s crimes, due to their dependence on the Western countries, which has no result other than the continuation of the crimes of that regime.

The president of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations clarified that: Should the oppressed Palestinians stop fighting and submit to the coercion of Israel and their Western supporters who only think of exploiting the Muslim nations? Or should they continue their fight until they realize their goal, which is the liberation of the Palestinian land and Holy Quds from the yoke of the fake regime of Israel? The history of recent decades shows that the popular fighting forces, on any occasion, have been able to organize themselves, obtain their necessary needs to continue their fighting in defending themselves and produce or obtain the weapons they need. On this basis, the strength and power of Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Islamic Jihad have been increased, so that they have been able to defeat Israel and endanger its security in various confrontations with the enemy.

Dr. Kharrazi, in response to what will be the fate of the Al-Aqsa Storm? said: War is war, and its result is killing and destruction, but when there is motivation, determination, and national will, a nation can materialize its power in the shadow of the experiences gains from the war, just as Iran has done after the brutal and destructive aggression of the Iraqi regime. Iran has surprised the world with its defense power and maintaining the country’s security, and recognized as one of the world’s producers of advanced weapons, without relying on foreigners.

He added: In the current war in Gaza, Israel is killing innocent Palestinian men, women, and children without any restrictions due to its non-compliance with the international laws governing the war, which has turned Gaza City into ruin and even intends to enter Gaza, trying to complete its insanity and eliminate Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other militant groups. The mistake by that regime, which is addicted to power and relies on modern weapons donated by the West, is that by occupying Gaza, a guerilla war will begin, a war that will last for years and will undoubtedly be won by the guerilla forces.

The president of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations emphasized: This is why the intellectuals of the world prevent the Israeli regime from entering Gaza, and even US President Biden, as a seasoned politician has asked Israel to avoid entering Gaza, because he knows very well what the fate of guerrilla war is, and on the one hand, he is worried about the spread of war in the region and the involvement of other popular resistance forces and regional countries in this war and its side effects for the entire region and the United States. Therefore, if the United States’ interests matter, Israel will have no choice but to stop entering Gaza, and end its aggression, and this will undoubtedly be another victory for the Palestinian fighters.

It Was America That Abandoned Nuclear Diplomacy/ Iran Also Considers Diplomacy the Best Approach

Strategic Council Online: The President of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations stated: “The US State Department spokesperson, after my interview with Al Jazeera, reiterated their past remarks, stating that they won’t allow Iran to build nuclear weapons, but ultimately said diplomacy is the best approach. Yes, we too prefer diplomacy since based on the Fatwa of our Supreme Leader are not for nuclear weapons; rather, we are advocates of diplomacy to make the Middle East a nuclear-free region. Europe’s Confusion in Securing Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Red Sea

Strategic Council Online – Opinion: The strategic Strait of Bab al-Mandab and the Red Sea have recently faced serious problems and crises due to the Gaza war. This is because of the protectionist approach of the Yemeni army forces toward Palestine, which, since the beginning of the Israeli regime’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, has included attacks on ships bound for or from the origin of the regime in the Red Sea.
They said they will continue their attacks until the Israeli regime’s military aggression in the Gaza Strip ends. The United States, as the most important supporter of the Israeli regime, was the first country to respond to this policy of Yemeni army forces and tried to form a global coalition to counter these attacks under the cover of supporting freedom of navigation, which, of course, failed because of conflicts of interests of Western countries and ended in the actions of the US and British attacks on positions in Yemen. Of course, although European countries were not seriously involved in the American coalition, they have numerous and complex interests in this inflammatory, and as a result, have adopted a particular and independent approach.
