Strategic Council Online: The President of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, in response to the question of how you interpret the Zionist regime’s aggression against Qatar, while condemning the aggression of the sinister Israeli regime against the territory of a country that plays a mediating role in stopping Israeli attacks on Gaza, said: Before the 12-day war, in a meeting with the Honorable Prime Minister of Qatar, in explaining the objectives of the United States and the Zionist regime for the entire region, I emphasized that we are all in the same boat and you should take the danger seriously.

Dr. Kharazi in explaining the plan of the Zionist regime for the entire region said to our correspondent that: In my speech at the opening ceremony of the Iranian-Arab Dialogue, which was held in May in Doha, I quoted that Moshe Dayan, during a visit to the Golan Heights occupied by forces of the Zionist regime, said: “The previous generation established Israel in 1948, our generation occupied the Golan Heights, and the next generation will implement the policy of from the Nile to the Euphrates in expanding the Israel territory.”

He added: In the same trip, before the 12-day war, in a meeting with the Prime Minister of Qatar, while explaining the objectives of the United States and the Israeli regime for the entire region, I emphasized that we are all in the same boat and you should take the danger seriously. Today, as the curtains have fallen and the Israeli regime has brazenly attacked Qatar, another part of the scenario of the United States and the Zionist regime for the region is revealed.

The President of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations continued: In a recent meeting with Mr. Seyed Ammar Hakim, the leader of the National Wisdom Movement of Iraq, I said that what the United States has in mind for the Middle East is the hegemony of the Zionist regime over the entire region, as an American proxy element to safeguard Washington’s interests in the area, so that the United States can devote its energy to the Far East in competition with China.

Dr. Kharazi stated: The time is ripe for the countries of the region to take the plan of the Israeli regime for West Asia and North Africa seriously, find themselves under the threat of this regime, and make collective decisions regarding the future of the region on how to prevent the American-Zionist plan for domination over the area. The Islamic Republic of Iran, which is the only resistant power in the region against the aggressions of the Zionist regime, is ready to assist the countries of the area in this regard and to participate in neutralizing this sinister plan.

He added: The region’s security cannot be maintained by relying on foreign bases and forces; rather, endogenous security has to be maintained through the collective measures of the regional countries via creating a regional defense security mechanism. The Islamic Republic of Iran is fully prepared to engage in dialogue with other countries in creating such a mechanism.
