The head of Uzbekistan’s Think Tank meets Dr. Kharrazi

Strategic Council Online: The president of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, Dr. Kamal Kharrazi and the head of the Institute of Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and elected secretary general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, Vladimir Norov, met 8th of October, 2018 in Tehran.

Both sides welcomed the development of bilateral relations, especially in recent year, and discussed the potential of more cooperation between the two countries and in the region.

Economic cooperation, using the South-North corridor and Uzbekistan’s easier access to the sea, fighting against drugs and terrorism, developing tourism and cultural cooperations based on great similarities between the two countries were other issues of this dialogue.
