Heavy Shadow of Ukraine War on Russia-Zionist Regime Relations

Strategic Council Online - Interview: An expert on Israeli affairs said the closure of the Jewish Agency office in Russia is a turning point in the tension between the Zionist regime and Russia and added: The Zionist regime’s repeated support for Ukraine has gradually challenged the regime’s relationship with Russia and Moscow has gradually come to the conclusion that it needs to rethink its relations with Israel.

In an interview with the website of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, Ali Abdi, referring to the tensions between Moscow and Tel Aviv over the closure of the “Jewish Agency” in Russia and the remarks of the prime minister of the Zionist regime that such Russian measures are “an attack on the heart of Israel’s identity”, stated: The relations between Russia and the Zionist regime should be divided into two periods before and after the war in Ukraine. Before the Ukraine war, there were disagreements between Putin and the politicians of the Zionist regime, but Netanyahu was able to largely control those challenges by using his personal relationship with Putin.
He added: Netanyahu’s resignation and withdrawal of the element of personal relations in the relations between the two sides, as well as the positions of the Zionist regime towards the war in Ukraine, have had serious effects on their relations. In the current situation, the Likud Party, by exerting strong pressure on Lapid, puts the blame for the disruption of relations with Russia on the shoulders of his interim government and makes them look guilty, while the issues are beyond such cases.
Russia’s rethinking in relations with Zionist regime
The analyst of Zionist regime affairs emphasized that even if Netanyahu was in power, such relations would definitely suffer from those tensions and turbulences, and said: After the war in Ukraine, the Russians practically codified the fronts of their friends and foes and they define their current and future relations with regional players and coalitions based on their position regarding the war in Ukraine.
Abdi stated that after the war in Ukraine, the Zionist regime officially defined itself behind the United States and made all kinds of efforts to support Ukraine, adding: the presence of the special forces of the Zionist regime in Ukraine and the intelligence assistance that was recently revealed by the secret services of the Zionist regime along with Western countries, have provided to identify Russian intelligence elements, gradually challenged the relationship between the Zionist regime and Russia, and Russia gradually came to the conclusion that it needs to rethink its relations with the Zionist regime.
He pointed to the critical positions of the Russian authorities against the Zionist regime, including Lavrov’s remarks regarding the Second World War and cooperation of Jews with Nazi Germany in killing Jews, and continued: Evacuation of Russian bases in Syria and handing them over to Iran, Russia’s position regarding the air attack of the Zionist regime on Damascus airport and its condemnation, Russian air defense countering Israeli missiles in Hmeimim, Syria, and the official announcement of the location of the Zionist regime’s air attacks were the behaviors that had not been done by the Russians before.
The expert on the Zionist regime affairs said: The Zionist media announced that last May, the Zionist regime shot at Russian jets once. After Putin’s visit to Tehran, we are witnessing an increase in disputes over the “Jewish Agency” as the official representative of the Zionist regime all over the world to immigrate Jews to the occupied territories. The agency is the executive arm of the World Zionist Organization the headquarters of which is in the United States, and it is considered as one of the pillars of Zionist influence in the world. Of course, the Russians play very smartly and by throwing the ball in the court of their judicial system, they announced that this is a judicial issue and has nothing to do with the government.
According to Abdi, Putin has come to the conclusion that, being alert to the security threats of the Zionist regime, he should reconsider relations with that regime in some ways. If the process of developments continues in the same way, the gap between the Zionist regime and Russia will increase and we will witness more tensions.
He pointed to the holding of elections in the occupied territories next November and added: Even if it is likely that Netanyahu will come to power and become the prime minister through those elections, he still will not be able to make a significant impact on the relations and Putin will not sacrifice Russia’s interests for his personal relations with Netanyahu. However, although the Zionist regime is not withdrawing itself from the Western bloc, we should still not make premature judgments about the measures that Russia will take. Although there are tensions, the process should be monitored. Whether this tension leads to a crisis depends on the behavior of the Zionists and their insistence on cooperating with NATO.
Abdi called the closure of the Jewish Agency’s office in Russia a turning point in the tension between the Zionist regime and Russia towards a crisis and said: The tension between Moscow and Tel Aviv in the regional arena can advance the situation of Russia in the direction of weakening the position of the Zionist regime and actually face the Zionists with serious challenges in Syria. According to the level of the Zionist regime’s cooperation with NATO in Ukraine, Russia will exponentially narrow the field against the Zionist regime in Syria in different ways, especially in the air field.
The analyst of the Zionist regime affairs added: In the domestic arena, Russia can use its leverage despite the significant population of Russians in the Zionist regime. Although a wide range of them are anti-Putin, among the Russians of the Zionist regime, even if a minority are pro-Putin, they can become a problem for the Zionist regime. Even the Russian mafia may easily overshadow the atmosphere of organized crime in the Zionist regime and mafia tensions. In addition, the weakening role of the lobby of Russian Jews in Russia should also be considered.
Abdi stressed: The Zionist regime definitely does not want to increase tensions with Russia, because it knows its negative consequences with its knowledge about Putin; but amidst the power struggles, it must choose which front it wants to side with. The Zionist regime has made its choice and cannot turn its back and must pay the price. Certainly, continuation of this situation will increase the problems of the Zionist regime, and it is in the interest of Tel Aviv that the war in Ukraine ends as soon as possible.

Solution to Get Out of FATF Blacklist and Get Rid of Its Heavy Costs?

Strategic Council Online – Opinion: The Financial Action Task Force, FATF, announced on Friday, February 23, that the name of the Islamic Republic of Iran remains on the “blacklist” of this international organization. A decision that was not unexpected for the authorities of our country. According to the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, one day before the release of the FATF statement, due to the current sanctions, Iran is looking for its own FATF, as it uses other tools instead of SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications). On this basis, it seems that while the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon were removed from the “Grey List” of FATF in the previous reviews in June 2024, the Islamic Republic of Iran is not trying to be exempted from the blacklist. But what kind of organization is FATF, and why are some in Iran against joining it? And what is the way out of this situation?
