Strategic Role of Resistance & Hezbollah in Changing Security Equations of the Region

Strategic Council Online – Interview: Having stated that a change has taken place in power equation of the region and is progressing on a daily basis, an analyst of the West Asian affairs said:” Although Resistance and Hezbollah have been targeted with the most severe attacks of the arrogance, yet they continue to act as a standard bearer for confrontation as well as progress and to set new equations”.

Seyed Reza Sardrolhosseini in an interview with the site of Strategic Council on Foreign Relations referred to the statements released by Hezbollah concerning its 40-minute drone flight 70 kilometers deep inside the occupied territories and spelled out:” in view of the recent developments in the region and also advancements made by Hezbollah, we witnessed them in ground, air and sea defense, a strong media attack was formed, focused on what happened was the utmost defense capability of the Resistance”.

He added:” amid what happened, we witnessed the Zionist regime assaults on some regions of Syria and Lebanon. They tried to question the Resistance strategic capabilities through changing media vibes and demonstrate the military and defense capabilities of the Resistance as a deadlock through an extensive psychological-media operation. In fact, the flight of Hezbollah drone over strategic regions of the Zionist regime as well as taking video shots nullified the publicity”.

The expert of the West Asian affairs underscored:” the courageous measure showed the maximum preparedness of Hezbollah and its operational capability to reach the state-of-the-art in drone’s technology that managed to define a new position and strategy in the regional equations for the Resistance. This is a big challenge for the Zionist regime that makes it feel under control all the times”.

Having referred to the remarks made by Seyed Hassan Nasrallah when he said Hezbollah could reach the state-of-the-art in manufacturing Stealth drones, he said:” the day when they declared any country that is willing to purchase the Hezbollah made drones could place an order, there were some people who reacted suspiciously to the remarks; but Lebanese media carried reports during the recent days that drone which flew over the occupied territories for reconnaissance purpose, was manufactured at the demand of one of these countries and the flight was in fact, aimed at testing its capabilities”.

Having emphasized the change in the regional security equations through technological achievements of Hezbollah and infiltrating the iron dome of the Zionist regime, he continued:” the extent of the Resistance’s capability in hi-tech and sophisticated fields, particularly in the drone manufacturing field, is in total ambiguity for the Zionist regime. The incident will leave considerable effects on the air defense, air raids as well as precise reconnaissance of sensitive centers of the Zionist regime”.

Hezbollah Military & Economic Deterrence

Having referred to the promising future of the region’s developments and the Resistance position on directing these developments, Sadrolhosseini pointed out to the decisive achievements of the Palestine Resistance in its recent war with the Zionist regime, and reminded:” it seems that Hezbollah has properly managed to defuse the pressures exerted on it during the last year after the suspicious blast of Beirut Port and while preserving its capabilities, to achieve a thorough military deterrence. Likewise, in economic field, it has managed to supply the fuel required by important Lebanese service and health centers as well as to meet the requirements of the majority of the Lebanese people, and thus to achieve economic deterrence too”.

The analyst of the West Asian affairs stated that fly of Hezbollah Stealth drones over the occupied territories and intelligence dominance to sensitive centers of the Zionist regime was not done for the first time. He added:” Hezbollah Secretary General announced that they had thousands of accurate ballistic missiles and hundreds of advanced drones at their disposal, all of which were made manufactured locally by indigenous experts. After the remarks were raised, the recent operation was the seal of endorsement to the achievements that confirmed the strong military deterrence of Hezbollah and the Resistance Front”.

Having stated that safe and sound return of Hessan drone to its base, despite the activation of air defense system as well as the iron dome, caused the defamation of their defense system, he continued:” some of the Persian Gulf countries that compete with each other to buy iron dome defense system, spend billions of dollars and conceive that the defense system will protect them, should follow the details of the Zionist regime failure versus the drones of the Resistance and to revise their attitudes”.

Having underscored that infiltration of Hezbollah manufactured drone is an exclusive achievement for the Resistance in psychological warfare, which was admitted by the experts of the enemy, Sadrolhosseini said:” today, the Resistance Front is a unified and integrated front stick together. In fact, as a single segment of Resistance Front, Lebanon’s Resistance has proved to be avant-garde and has managed to proceed with its activities in various political, social, cultural, military and security fields as the driving force of Resistance. The recent measure is also a considerable example for other regions of the Resistance Front”.

Resistance as a Pattern for Confrontation & Progress

The expert of the West Asian affairs pointed out to supportive positions of member groups of the Resistance Front in different countries to extend their support to Hezbollah and added:” Although the Resistance and Hezbollah have been exposed at the most severe attacks of the arrogance, but still continue to be as standard bearer of confrontation as well as progress, and they set new equations”.

Having referred to the efforts made by some Arab countries to normalize their relations with the Zionist regime, he continued:” today, it has become obvious that the regime was unable to have capability and to preserve its own security definitely. In such a situation, how can it provide security for UAE and or Bahrain! Dependent countries of the region are better to provide their security through integration with the regional countries and do not let the Zionist regime to gain a foothold into the region under the so-called providing security for them”.

Concerning the change in the region’s equations when there are thousands of missiles and drones and 70-kilometers infiltration of Hezbollah into the regions of the occupied Palestine, Sadrolhosseini said:” the change in power equation has already been taken place and is advancing on a daily basis. The former deputy director of Mossad also admitted that the Zionist regime should prepare itself for a tough period of confrontation with drone attacks”.
